The Power of One – You CAN Make a Difference

As an organisation we strive to see

The old African proverb holds true…it takes a village to raise a child. How we deal with children in their early years needs to be placed within the broader context of social development and gender equity if we want to improve quality of life worldwide.

We are promoting the benefits of early literacy so that in the future we will not need to spend funds on illiteracy, crime, depression, unemployment and welfare. There are many ways in which you can help:

  1. Sponsor a Foster Child

Your support will assist us to provide children coming into care access to our Love of Learning Program and its many resources.

By sponsoring a child for one year you will receive your special FACES pin helping to bring about long-term benefits to the child, their foster family and our community at large.

As well as the Love of Learning Program we also provide special events and excursions of interest to our foster children to assist in their wider education, to build their confidence and help them fulfil their potential.

You will have an opportunity to understand the changes you are helping make in their lives by receiving four newsletters each year about their progress.
