Chief Executive

Bronwyn Sheehan

With a degree in health combined with experience as a small business owner Bronwyn Sheehan flourishes in environments that encourage the development of exceptional solutions. She has a clear sense of where she wants to go and intends to get there by creating a strategic plan to achieve her goals.

When she discovered the difficulties and struggles foster children were having with literacy she resolved to find a solution that was both simple and effective. She established her Foundation with the support of the Department of Child Safety and Department of Education, the encouragement of friends supporters and a small dedicated staff.

Within three short years, calling upon all her leadership and management skills, she has put in place a training program for volunteers, stocked a library of reading materials and motivated everyone around her to assist in her success. She has had one clear goal to assisting foster children by giving them opportunities in life empowering them through knowledge with a program designed to boost their literacy and listening skills.

Bronwyn’s own skill set is varied; her flexibility has been honed in her role as a mother and nurse; her communication skills are clear and concise; she inspires others to achieve and is a leader able to draw the best from people around her.
