How to become an angel

 

If you would like to consider becoming a Pyjama Angel you need to:

  1. Seek an interview
  2. Attend an interview to be assessed and complete forms which include: (click to download)
  3. You will need to bring your:
    • Driver's License
    • Medicare Card
    • Proof of Address (current electricity or phone account)
    • Contact Details of Two Referees, one referee should be lawyer/GP/accountant/minister of religion, MP or Justice of the Peace;
      one referee must have known you for five years
  4. You will then attend a training session
  5. Following your training and when you have received your Blue Card, you will be assigned a child.
By the end of 2008 we want to have 2000 angels READING ALOUD to 3000 children

The Pyjama Foundation is looking for trained teachers throughout the great South East and regional areas of Queensland in 2008 to take on the responsibility of training volunteers to read aloud in their local area.
